I bought a pair of shoes in Penneys / Primark on Christmas Eve to go with my outfit for Christmas Day. I was extremely disappointed on Christmas Day when I realised my big clown feet were too big for the shoes! :( I was quite surprised by this, usually I'm an 8 in Penneys shoes and never have to try them on before I buy them. Anyway so off I went back to Penneys to exchange them for something else. Here is what I exchanged the shoes for.
I LOVE this bag. It's the perfect size for work as it's big enough to hold an A4 refill pad, books, folders etc. I adore the colour of it. It's a beautiful turquoise blue. This bag was a bargain at €6 reduced from €13.
In real life these shoes are GREEN GREEN |
As I was bringing back shoes I really wanted to get another pair of shoes. These green pumps for €5 caught my eye. They are very bright but I love them. I used to wear so much more colour however I have really calmed down the colour in the last few years. With these shoes maybe I'm going back to my colour days! They were very pretty and I could not resist buying them.
I had run out of cosmetic pads for the removal of make up so I picked up these for €1. This is a bargain as you get 160 pads for €1! They are 100% cotton and have a bubble texture on them which I like.
Finally I picked up these socks for €3. They didn't seem to have much of a selection of socks which was strange but these pink and purple ones will do!
I will probably head to a Dublin branch over the next few days to see if they have any more bargains in the bigger stores.
Hope you all had a good New Years!
