July Empties!

I really can't believe it is nearly August! This year is going so fast. Here is my July empties.

Catrice Infinite Matt Foundation in 010 Light Beige.
I bought this foundation back in February. Back then it was slightly too dark for my skin tone. Since I have come back from a holiday in Spain it finally matched my skin. It is one of my favourite cheaper foundations. I only wish it came in a lighter shade as my skin is slowly going back to its super pale self. I was glad I got to use this foundation up though while my skin tone was slightly darker. I'm going to keep the bottle for my next bottle of Revlon Colorstay as it doesn't have a pump and I always use far too much. For a full review click HERE!

Revlon Colorstay in 110 Ivory
If you have pale skin then this is the foundation for you! I love it. I have gone through about seven bottles already this year. (As mentioned above I do seem to waste a good bit by pouring too much out as there is no pump!) Don't let this put you off as it is a great foundation for milk bottle pale girls. There is a shop in The Ilac centre just beside Argos that sells it for €10. They do other foundations also very cheap. If you are on the hunt for a new foundation check out that shop.

Clinique Moisture Surge
I was quite excited when I saw this moisturiser free in a magazine. I have very dry skin so I love to try out different products to try and sort it out. I was actually very disappointed with this. It didn't do much for my skin at all! I really thought it was going to make a huge difference considering how expensive it is to buy. I would definitely not buy again. (I'm currently loving The Body Shops beautifying oil. It is now my holy grail for dry skin)

Catrice Prime and Fine Primer
I love this Primer. It is smooth and leaves my skin very silky. It provides a great base for foundation. I would definitely buy again. It is my favourite primer I have tried. For a full review click HERE!

Essence Ballerina Blush Souffle
This is from Essence's Limited Edition Ballerina Collection. It is a lovely cream blush that gives the cheeks a nice natural looking glow. Unfortunately you can't buy it anymore but there is now a similar product in Essence's main product line. Would I buy it again? I did like it and think I would buy it again come September when I'm back working (Hopefully!) in a school and need very natural makeup.

So that is my July Empties. I love empties posts so please leave a comment below with a link if you have one too!

March Favourites!

I can't believe it is April already! This year is actually flying by. So a new month means a new monthly favourites. Here is what I was loving in March.

La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water - After seeing this product over on Viva Adonis I knew I had to have it. I had been searching for a setting spray for ages but did not want to fork out €27 for an Urban Decay spray. This spray is great value it is only €9 for a 150ml bottle. I use this spray to set my make up and to hydrate my dry skin. It also can be used as a cooling spray so it was great during the hot weather we had during the week. It really cooled down my face and refreshed my make up. I have had it for a few months now and still have a lot left.

Rescue Oil - I have been using this everyday since I bought it. Amazing value at €1.49. It has really improved my dry skin. For a full review click here!

Boots from Dunnes Stores - This is a random item for a monthly favourites, I usually just stick to beauty products but I am in love with these boots. They are so comfy and I just adore them! €30 Dunnes Stores.

I have used it so much I broke the cover .... :(
MUA Professional Heaven and Earth Palette - Once again this palette has made it into my monthly favourites! I adore this palette! I use it everyday to fill in my eyebrows and usually on my eyes also. (I work as a teacher so I have to keep my eyes quite neutral. This palette is a perfect work palette.)

Revlon ColourStay in 110 Ivory - I bought this foundation once again the other day. I must be on my 6th bottle by now. It is the perfect shade for my snow white skin and I adore it. I buy it in Georges Street arcade for €10. Just to let you know if anyone else buys it from there that the shop is moving over to the Ilac Centre. It will open a store beside Argos. I'm so happy I heard about this I would have been devastated to find it closed!

So that's what I was loving during March!

Sales Haul

I have been trying my best not to buy anything in the sales (as I'm trying to save money.) Unfortunately, I didn't succeed in my shopping ban, I only bought a few things though and didn't go too crazy!

Leopard Print Faux Fur Scarf - I picked this up in Dunnes Stores for €3.00 (reduced from €5) I forgot to bring a scarf one day so I was freezing! I bought this to warm me up! I wanted to get a faux fur scarf for ages, so I'm quite pleased with this.

Top Shop Earrings- I love these earrings! I think they are so pretty! They have a bit of a Downton Abbey look to them. They were a bargain at €4.50 (reduced from €12.50)

Penneys / Primark Necklace - This flower necklace was only €1 (reduced from €3) I'm always breaking necklaces so picked this up to add to my 'work wear' necklaces.

Revlon Nail Builders 'Grow 10' - My nails have been in bits lately so I have been looking for something to give them some TLC. I picked this up in the cosmetics shop in Georges Street Arcade for only €3. Hopefully help my poor nails.

James Corden 'May I have your Attention Please' Autobiography - I'm a huge 'Gavin and Stacey' fan so I wanted to buy James Cordon's book. I looked before Christmas and it cost €18.50!! I however, found it while browsing in a charity shop for €1! Yes €1! It was brand new and looked like it had never been read. (I'd say it was an unwanted Christmas present!) I'm about half way through and really liking it.

So that's my sale haul. Not bad for €12.50! :)

January Empties!

One post I love to see is a post on 'Empties'. I love to see a product a blogger fully finishes, what they thought of it and most importantly would they buy it again? The following are my January Empties! :)

Product - Revlon ColourStay in 110 Ivory
Price -  €18
What did I think? - This foundation is AMAZING! It's definitely one of the best I have ever used. It's the perfect shade for my snow white skin. It also has brilliant staying power. The price is quite high but there is  a shop in George's Street arcade (On the Fortune Teller Side) that sells it for €10.99! They sell lots of different foundations for quite cheap. Anyone who likes the make up brand W7 should have a look as they have a good few bits from that brand.
Would I buy again? - YES I ran out as soon it was all gone! (To the George's Street arcade shop)

Product - No7 Natural Blush Cheek Colour in '12 Coral Flush'
Price - €11.50 I think! I used the €7.50 voucher so I got it for cheaper about €5.
What did I think? - I did like this blush. It was very pigmented so a little went a long way. (I had to be very careful not to look like Bosco!)
Would I buy again? - I don't think I would buy for full price but I might by it again with another €7.50 voucher.

Product -  Schwarzkopf Supersoft Bio Pomegranate Shampoo
Price - €1.49 in 'Dealz'
What did I think? - I didn't HATE this product but didn't LOVE it either. It had a nice smell but that's really it!
Would I buy again? - No it just didn't do much for me!

Product - Original source Vanilla Milk and Raspberry shower gel
Price - €2.65
What did I think? - AMAZING! This product smells so good you could almost eat it! Delicious! It's the best shower gel I have ever smelt! Mmmmmm! For a full review click HERE!
Would I buy again? - I will DEFINITELY but this again!

So that's my January empties! What do you think of 'Empties' posts?

Revlon and Soap and Glory Bargains!

I have tried to stop buying so much cosmetics but with so many great bargains out there I can't seem to stop... :( Here is my latest bargains!

I picked up this gorgeous Revlon nail polish for €1.49 in the new shop in Ireland 'Dealz'. They also have Sally Hanson and Rimmel bargains all for €1.49!! I think they are all old colours but there are still some gorgeous items. I love this Revlon nail polish in the colour 'Galaxy'. It's perfect for the party season. I painted it over a Nails Inc polish in the photo below.

I'm sure you are all sick of looking at this by now, but here is the bargain 'Soap and Glory Big Splendour' set. This set is reduced from €81 to €30 (which works out as €3 for each item and a huge vanity case!) I raced down to my local Boots for 9 o' clock to get my hands on a set for me and one for my sister. I couldn't believe how BIG they were! It was a struggle to carry them!

The products come in a huge pink vanity case and included inside are:
  • Clean On Me™ Creamy Clarifying Shower Gel - 500ml
  • The Righteous Butter™ Body Butter - 300ml
  • Pulp Friction™ Body Scrub - 300ml
  • Face, Soap & Clarity™ Fresh Facial Wash - 150ml
  • 25 Off Your Face™ Cleansing Wipes
  • Heel Genius Foot™ Cream - 125ml
  • Hand Food Hand™ Cream - 125ml
  • Mist You Madly™ Fragrant Body Spray - 250ml
  • Sexy Mother Pucker™ Lip Plumper In Candy Gloss - 7ml
  • Calm One, Calm All™ Bubble Bath - 500ml.

My 'Face Soap'  came with a big chunk of the product  missing... hhhmmmm  :(

I have only used a couple of Soap and Glory's products in the past so I am very excited to try these items out! I will do a review in about a month to let you know how I got on with the products. Hurry up to Boots if you want one as they wont be around for long!!
