August Favourites

With September only a few days away I'm starting to feel quite wintery. Where did the summer go? Here are my August favourites.

Jemma Kidd Make Up School I-Glamour Volume Mascara - My Mam got this free in the July issue of Red Magazine, she didn't want it so she gave it to me. I LOVE this mascara! I will do a full review on it soon. One of my favourite mascaras I have ever tried.

Avon's Naturals Key Lime & Passion Flower Volumising Shampoo - I was loving this shampoo this month. It really gave my hair a nice lift. Unfortunately I used it all up. I'm devastated as it's been discontinued. Wail. :( For a full review click here.

Beauty UK blush in 08 Dolly Pink - A gorgeous bright pink blush. It might look shocking pink but it looks great on my pale skin.

Body Shop Beautifying Oil - I'm still LOVING this product. I have used it everyday since I got it in June and still have loads left. It is the first product I have found that finally keeps my dry skin away. For a full review click here!

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes - This is the first time I have included a book in my monthly favourites. This book is a great read. From the first couple of pages I was hooked. Great characters and a great story line.

Until next month!

Monthly Favourites: June

Another month gone already. I can't believe it is July, this year is going so fast! Despite the awful weather in Ireland I'm doing my best to enjoy the Summer. Here is what I was loving during the rainy month of June.

Catrice Infinite Matt up to 18 h Make-Up foundation 010 Light Beige - This foundation is usually too dark for me, but since I have come back from Spain I can actually wear it. It gives meduim coverage and I find that it lasts all day. It doesn't last me the 18 hours as it claims too but I am happy with how long I do get out of it. It is a great foundation for the price €6.99. I hope they bring out a lighter shade for when my skin goes back to being super pale.

Kim Kardashion Gold - I love the smell of this perfume. It smells gorgeous and I recieved  a good few compliments about it this month. I try not to spray too much as the bottle is tiny.

Lily Cole Primer The Body Shop - This primer has recieved a lot of bad reviews but I actually love it! I use it  over my foundation to give my skin a lovely glow. It is annoying the way you have to really rub it in but I love the effect it gives so I don't mind this. For a full review click here.

The Body Shop Beautiyfing Oil - I declared my love for this product in one of my last posts. My new Holy Grail. I use it evryday and adore it. For a full review click here.

Sleek Rose Gold - This is a beutiful blush. It is is a peachy pink with a gold sheen. It's very pigmented so it's best to go light and build it up. It's a gorgeous summer blush that looks lovely with a tan. I have been using it everyday this month and love it!

So that is what I have been loving in June. What have been your favourites this month?

March Favourites!

I can't believe it is April already! This year is actually flying by. So a new month means a new monthly favourites. Here is what I was loving in March.

La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water - After seeing this product over on Viva Adonis I knew I had to have it. I had been searching for a setting spray for ages but did not want to fork out €27 for an Urban Decay spray. This spray is great value it is only €9 for a 150ml bottle. I use this spray to set my make up and to hydrate my dry skin. It also can be used as a cooling spray so it was great during the hot weather we had during the week. It really cooled down my face and refreshed my make up. I have had it for a few months now and still have a lot left.

Rescue Oil - I have been using this everyday since I bought it. Amazing value at €1.49. It has really improved my dry skin. For a full review click here!

Boots from Dunnes Stores - This is a random item for a monthly favourites, I usually just stick to beauty products but I am in love with these boots. They are so comfy and I just adore them! €30 Dunnes Stores.

I have used it so much I broke the cover .... :(
MUA Professional Heaven and Earth Palette - Once again this palette has made it into my monthly favourites! I adore this palette! I use it everyday to fill in my eyebrows and usually on my eyes also. (I work as a teacher so I have to keep my eyes quite neutral. This palette is a perfect work palette.)

Revlon ColourStay in 110 Ivory - I bought this foundation once again the other day. I must be on my 6th bottle by now. It is the perfect shade for my snow white skin and I adore it. I buy it in Georges Street arcade for €10. Just to let you know if anyone else buys it from there that the shop is moving over to the Ilac Centre. It will open a store beside Argos. I'm so happy I heard about this I would have been devastated to find it closed!

So that's what I was loving during March!

February Favourties

I may be a bit late seeing as it's now March but here are my February Favourites!

Soap & Glory Pulp-Friction Foaming Fruity Body Scrub 250ml
I have been loving this body scrub this month! It came with the Big Splendour Soap and Glory set I bought just before Christmas. It smells slightly different from the other Soap and Glory products. I think this is a good thing however, as I am getting slightly sick of the Soap and Glory scent! (All my products are Soap and Glory at the moment!) It feels great when applied, you can really feel it exfoliating your skin. I have very dry itchy skin, since using this product it has helped ease the itchiness! It does wash away quite fast so I would turn off the water when you apply. This means you won't have to use as much product.

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti Chip Top Coat
When my Essence fast dry drops ran out I was all set to buy a new bottle. By chance in Boots I walked by Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti Chip Top Coat and picked it up instead. I'm VERY impressed with this product! You paint your nails, wait two minutes and then apply this as a top coat. After 30 seconds your nails are dry! (I'd give it about 60 if you have a thick coat). Not only did it dry my nails super fast but I have never had nail polish last so long. I always get a chip within a few hours. I don't know how I manage that! With this top coat I managed two days before my first chip appeared. I NEVER get that long out of a polish! Unlike the Essence drops I can see this lasting a long time as the bottle is quite big.

MeMeMe Beat The Blues Face Illuminator Moonbeam
I became obsessed with Benefit's Highbeam when it came free with Glamour last summer. When I finished my bottle I was devastated as I didn't want to fork out nearly €30 on a new one. Lucky I came across a dupe. I have been using MeMeMe Beat The Blues Face Illuminator Moonbeam and I love it! My Mam even asked was I wearing High Beam. To see them swatched side by side click here!

Natural Collection Vanilla Body Spray
I used to wear this body spray for years. I wore it for so long that I could not even smell it anymore! Over the last year I have gone off it and have not been wearing it. I came across it this month and have been wearing it again. I have received loads of complements when I wear this spray. That has yet to happen with other perfume! It's by far the nicest vanilla spray you can buy. (The Body Shop one is horrible!) After eight years of using this spray I always seem to come back to it.

So that's my February Favourites!

January Favourites!

With January coming to an end it means it's time for my monthly favourites! Here is what I have been loving in January!

MUA Professional Heaven and Earth Palette - I have been using this palette all month to fill in my eyebrows. I recently dyed my hair dark brown so I use one of the browns in this palette to match my eyebrows to my hair. (They looked a bit odd if I don't!) I also use this to create a natural look for work.

Essence 'Nail art Express Dry Drops' - I LOVE this product! I use it without fail every time I paint my nails. It dries my nails super fast so I don't have to have the annoying waiting around for them to dry. (It doesn't work as good on glitter nail polish though)

Sleek Rose Gold - I bought this blush on beautyemporium.ie just before Christmas. There was a 20% off sale on along with free shipping so I got this gorgeous blush for €5.40! I had been lusting after it for ages so I was delighted when I finally got my hands on it. I have been using it all month. It gives a gorgeous glow. Many bloggers also compare it to Nars blushers.

Revlon ColourStay in 110 Ivory - I can't express just how much I love this foundation!  It's the perfect shade for my snow white skin. It also has brilliant staying power. My holy grail foundation, I will go crazy if this is ever discontinued. (Smaller Boots might not have 110 Ivory which is annoying. There is a cosmetics shop in George's Street arcade sells it for €10 BARGAIN)

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula- The cold weather meant that my hands were feeling quite dry this month. I have been using this hand cream to try and sort my hands out!  I Love this product! It smells so good you could almost eat it! It left my hands really soft and smooth.  It's also a bargain at €1.99

So that's what products I have been loving this month! :)

November Favourites!

I love reading other bloggers monthly favourites posts. I think they are a quick and easy way to see what new (and old!) products people are loving. Here is what I have been crazy about this month. :)
I bought this bag in Penneys/Primark for €13. I really needed a big bag to use in London when I went to visit my parents. I LOVE this bag although my family roared laughing at it when they saw it >:( A guard in the Tower of London also told me it reminded him of a monster... Oh well the important thing is that I love it and proudly have it in my November favourites!

My new Urban Decay Book of Shadows that my boyfriend got me for my birthday had to make it into my monthly favourites. I'm absolutely loving this and have been using the eye shadow every day this month! :) For a full review on this click here.

I bought this hair donut in Penneys/Primark for €1.50 and think it's fantastic! I like to have my hair up for work and this makes the perfect bun in seconds! Definitely a time saver in the mornings.

I'm really impressed with this nail varnish remover from Essence. Usually I would not be too bothered by nail varnish and just pick up anything but not anymore. This smells very pleasant! Yes a nail varnish remover that doesn't stink. It has a strawberry vanilla scent. It is acetone free and is designed to harden nails. A bargain at €1.49. I will definitely repurchase.

This is one of my favourite mascaras ever not just for this month! I have really small eyelashes and this actually makes them look long for once. Unfortunately you can't buy it in Ireland though. :( For pictures and full review click here .

As I work in a school I can't wear crazy colours so purchased this lipstick as an everyday simple lipstick. It's from the Kate Moss Rimmel range in the colour 08. It has a lovely scent and feels really moisturising on the lips. Perfect for those who want to have a simple natural look.

The colour is perfect to add colour to your lips without it being over the top or really noticeable.

Hope you liked my first monthly favourites! :)
