Free Olay Sample!

If you are like me and love a free beauty sample then here is a post you might like. Over at www.supersaveyme.co.uk they are giving away free samples of Olay's Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream. To buy in shops it is quite expensive at £30 sterling. This can be your chance to try it before you part with your hard earned cash.

At 23 I have very young skin so I don't need anti ageing cream but would love to see if it helps dry skin. Apparently this cream 'hydrates better than several luxury creams over $500'. Time will tell though when I get to try it out!

Shoe Lust!

It's not often I fall totally in lust with an item, but today is one of the rare exceptions. How AMAZING are these new boots from Primark!? They will be £20 sterling so I would say about €28 euro. I adore both. I'm not sure if I would be able to walk in them, but that is not stopping me. I must get my paws on one of these.

What do you think? Do you love them as much as me or do you think they are horrible? I think they could be a hate it or love it item. I certainly LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Avon can do some amazing deals in their sale brochure. It is a great way to try out some Avon products without spending a lot of money. I managed to get all the products above for under €10! Saving me about €30! I ordered them a few weeks ago so there are one or two that I don't know the exact original price but it should be near enough.

Naturals Key Lime & Passion Flower Volumizing Shampoo - €5.00 (I think!) down to €1.25

Nail Experts Grow Potion - Was €6.00 down to €1.50

Nail Experts Mineral Fix - €6.00 down to €1.50

Jillian Dempsey professional kohl eyeliner - €9.00 (I think!) down to €1.50

What do you think of Avon? Do you ever order anything?

July Empties!

I really can't believe it is nearly August! This year is going so fast. Here is my July empties.

Catrice Infinite Matt Foundation in 010 Light Beige.
I bought this foundation back in February. Back then it was slightly too dark for my skin tone. Since I have come back from a holiday in Spain it finally matched my skin. It is one of my favourite cheaper foundations. I only wish it came in a lighter shade as my skin is slowly going back to its super pale self. I was glad I got to use this foundation up though while my skin tone was slightly darker. I'm going to keep the bottle for my next bottle of Revlon Colorstay as it doesn't have a pump and I always use far too much. For a full review click HERE!

Revlon Colorstay in 110 Ivory
If you have pale skin then this is the foundation for you! I love it. I have gone through about seven bottles already this year. (As mentioned above I do seem to waste a good bit by pouring too much out as there is no pump!) Don't let this put you off as it is a great foundation for milk bottle pale girls. There is a shop in The Ilac centre just beside Argos that sells it for €10. They do other foundations also very cheap. If you are on the hunt for a new foundation check out that shop.

Clinique Moisture Surge
I was quite excited when I saw this moisturiser free in a magazine. I have very dry skin so I love to try out different products to try and sort it out. I was actually very disappointed with this. It didn't do much for my skin at all! I really thought it was going to make a huge difference considering how expensive it is to buy. I would definitely not buy again. (I'm currently loving The Body Shops beautifying oil. It is now my holy grail for dry skin)

Catrice Prime and Fine Primer
I love this Primer. It is smooth and leaves my skin very silky. It provides a great base for foundation. I would definitely buy again. It is my favourite primer I have tried. For a full review click HERE!

Essence Ballerina Blush Souffle
This is from Essence's Limited Edition Ballerina Collection. It is a lovely cream blush that gives the cheeks a nice natural looking glow. Unfortunately you can't buy it anymore but there is now a similar product in Essence's main product line. Would I buy it again? I did like it and think I would buy it again come September when I'm back working (Hopefully!) in a school and need very natural makeup.

So that is my July Empties. I love empties posts so please leave a comment below with a link if you have one too!

Diet Coke by Jean Paul Gaultier Event

Hi everyone, sorry there has not been many posts lately. I was lucky enough to get a job making teaching resources for the summer so I have been crazy busy and have not had enough time to blog. Hopefully though I will get a few more posts up this week.

Yesterday I was lucky enough to head along to the Diet Coke by Jean Paul Gaultier bloggers event. It was a great chance to meet some fellow bloggers and also a chance to get a sneak peek at the Diet Coke by Jean Paul Gaultier Backstage Tour bus.

The nails above are Sarah's from a little bit of love and the tattoo of the bird is the one I picked.

The Tour bus will be travelling all over the country giving fans a chance to get their nails done and for those feeling a bit braver they can sample some body art. All the bloggers at the event tried both the nails and the body art. We were all quite impressed with are mini make-overs! My tattoo was a small bird on my wrist. If you look closely at the lace coke bottle you will see the same bird.

If you want to try this experience out for yourself the tour starts this Friday in Belfast and will continue on around the country.
