Essence Haul!

While walking through Penneys on Mary Street the other day, I came across an amazing discovery. A FULL SIZED ESSENCE STAND! As you can probably tell by my excitement this is no ordinary Essence stand. This stand is like the magical one I heard so much about in Galway's Penneys. It's double the usual size and stocks the full nail polish range. Including magnetic polish, colour changing, false nails, nail savers, nail stamps the list is endless! Here is what I picked up on my first trip.

Nail art magnet - That creates a star effect
Stampy polish- This is for a stamping set I bought previously. Essence also have this set for much cheaper. It's a cheap version of the Konad nail stamps.
Volumizing lash powder -  A powder that gives a false eyelash effect. I saw this on beaut.ie months ago. I have been dying to get my hands on it as it is a dupe for Model Co Fibre Lash that is €39! Essence version is less than €4!
Cherry Blossom Highlighter - I love a highlighter, bought to see if it is as good as High Beam.

So that's my haul! If you would like to see reviews of any of the products let me know.

MUA Nail Constellation

It was with great excitement I discovered that MUA are bringing out a micro beads collection. I have been dying to try Micro beads for ages but with Ciate sets selling for crazy prices between €23 - €25, I have been put off by just how expensive they are. However MUA's version will only be £3! Yes the bargain price of £3! Below are some images of the new products from MUA's blog

Scorpio

Gemini

Libra

Leo

Pisces

What they look like in the bottle!

I'm hoping they will be in Superdrug in Omni Park, otherwise I will be begging my Mam to bring me some over from London. They look so AMAZING! I can't wait to get my paws on them.

Forgotten Finds 2

So Last week my very first 'Forgotten Finds' went up on my blog. The idea for this post is to make more use of your make up. Like many others I tend to forget about make up when I buy new 'shiny' products. Good products I loved in the past get forgotten about. By 'Shopping the Stash' you can give products a new life. It is a great way to feel like you have bought something without actually spending any money. I actually found it quite easy to stick to the products I picked for last week. It was great to use products I had forgotten about and to rediscover how good they actually were.

This week I have picked.....

M&S Bohemia Perfume- I'm awful at describing perfume so here is how M&S describe it 'An eclectic fragrant blend of lemon, blueberry and bergamot with floral heart notes of lily of the valley, mimosa and gardenia drying down to warm aromas of cedarwood, amber and vanilla.' M&S is a great place to pick up cheap perfume. I got this one half price when I bought another perfume. I find they are dupes for much more expensive perfume.

Benefit Moon Beam - As a great lover of high beam (Or at least my cheap dupes of it!) I often forget I have Moon Beam. Compared to High Beam it is very subtle. I think this is why I always pick High Beam over it.

Barry M 272 Shocking Pink - I love just how pink this nail polish is. It's a very hot Barbie pink that looks amazing on.

Barry M Touch of Magic - I picked this up when I was in London at Easter. I adore this lipstick. It's a bit crazy looking as it is green when you open it, but when you put it on your lips it turns a colour unique to your lips. On me it is a dark pink colour. Win Sure Linen Dry + Review!

With the lovely weather we are having here in Ireland, it is the perfect chance to test out the new Sure Linen Dry. The lovely people at sure sent me out two deodorants to try. Not only that but they also are going to send some out to a lucky reader of my blog. As a huge fan of Sure's Maximum Protection I was very eager to test out Linen Dry to see if it was as good.

Sure Women Linen Dry in an Ultra Dry 48h Anti-Perspirant. It is also alcohol free. What is really interesting about this Deodorant is that it contains Microcapsules. When I first heard this I was thinking 'what the hell are they?!' Microcapsules sit on the skin. Friction in the under am causes the mircrocapsules to break, releasing little bursts of fragrance throughout the day as you move! Pretty niffty eh?

So what did I think? Unusually for Ireland the weather has been fab this week, with temperatures reaching 21 Degrees. Did the deodorant beat the heat? I was very impressed with the Linen Dry Roll on Deodorant. Despite the heat I didn't sweat much more than I did when wearing Sure's Maximum Protection which is AMAZING. Unfortunately I didn't find the spray version to be as good. The heat beat this one I'm afraid. I would definitely recommend the roll on version however, it smells great and worked so well!

If you would like to try these out for yourself, comment below for your chance to win a set! Sorry this giveaway is for Irish residencies only.

Have you tried Linen Dry yet?

Forgotten Finds!

Shopping the Stash posts are becoming so popular across the beauty blogger world. I have been inspired to join in and do my own post. The Sunday Girl always does a great post on this every week. You guys should check her out. Click here!

Here is the products I have picked to wear for this week.

Eyeko 'Line and Shine Duo Colour Pencil' for the Eyes' - I picked this up in TK Maxx about a year ago. It came in a pack with two other Eyeko products for €9.99. This eye pencil is double ended, one end is 'Electric Blue' and the other is 'Teal'. hey are both super pigmented and last on the eyes. I don't know why I haven't been using them more as I love the colours.

Avon's Ultra Colour Rich White Gold Lipstick in ‘Platinum Pink’- This is quite a nice lipstick. It has pieces of gold in it which makes it quite sparkly but not in a scary twilight way. It is a light pink,  It gives your lips a lovely sparkle without a very noticeable strong colour. This is good if you want a more neutral looking lipstick. This lipstick smells lovely but doesn't last that long on the lips. It fades naturally though so you don't have to worry about your lips looking patchy.

17 magnetic nail polish in the colour black - I love this nail polish. The magnetic effect works really well with this colour. It gives your nails an almost marble effect.

MUA Professional Heaven and Earth Palette - When I first got this palette I adored it. I used it every day. I used it so much I even broke the cover. oops :( In the last few months however I bought a neutral sleek palette and the undressed palette by MUA. My poor heaven and earth palette was forgotten about. This week I will rediscover its charm.

NYC Blush - Mosaic style blush. Gives a nice pink glow to the cheeks. Super cheap too!

So that is the make up I'm rediscovering this week!
